Why Dubai in enero

This is the coolest, most pleasant month of the year (highs near 24°C and lows around 14°C) — ideal for the desert, the Jumeirah beaches and Global Village without the summer swelter.

The Dubai Shopping Festival reaches its final stretch with mega-sales, concerts, car and gold raffles, and nightly fireworks over the Creek and Burj Khalifa.

Golf and books take over the city: the Hero Dubai Desert Classic plays out at Emirates Golf Club from January 22 to 25, and the Emirates Festival of Literature fills Festival City from the 21st to the 27th.
