UAE National Day (December 2) brings parades, air shows and fireworks across the city to celebrate the country's union.

The Dubai Shopping Festival returns in mid-December (from the 15th) with six weeks of mega-sales, concerts, raffles and nightly fireworks.

New Year's Eve at the Burj Khalifa (December 31) delivers the famous fireworks, light and laser show over Downtown, with perfect winter weather (highs of 26°C) and the city at its seasonal peak.
