Why Dubai in agosto

Dubai Summer Surprises continues with the Great Dubai Summer Sale, and the '10 Dirham Dish' (August 3-30) keeps eating out dirt-cheap across the city.

It's the hottest, most humid month of the year and the quietest for tourism: near-empty attractions and the lowest hotel rates on the whole calendar, all indoors.

The Miami Musical Show comes to Coca-Cola Arena on August 28, and Modesh World stays the air-conditioned family refuge of the summer.
