What to do in Cusco in octubre

The editorial plan

Why Cusco in octubre

October is one of the gentlest, quietest months: mild days, mostly dry skies and Rainbow Mountain free of the high-season queues.

Toward month's end the first afternoon showers appear, bringing green back to the terraces of Pisac and Moray without spoiling the mornings.

With fewer tourists than September and ahead of November's rains, hotel and train prices settle back to shoulder-season levels.
