Romería de San Cecilio, Granada's patron, on the first Sunday (February 1 in 2026) — locals walk up to Sacromonte and the city hands out 3,500 kilos of salaíllas, cod and broad beans from the Vega.

Carnival February 13-17 with chirigota choirs and pasacalles between Bib-Rambla and Plaza del Carmen — Ash Wednesday falls on the 18th and closes the cycle.
